MILLVALE, Pa. — Even though it’s getting colder outside, one local business is gearing up for some winter fun.
Sliders Curling, America’s first competitive, bar-style ice curling ice rink is getting ready to open later this month. The rink is located outside LumberjAxes in Millvale.
The rink reopens on November 25, with stringent COVID-19 measures in place, and will operate all winter. Sliders has amped up its cleaning protocols, with frequent disinfection of work areas, common areas and customer areas.
At Sliders, guests play a “bar-style” version of the sport that’s easier to learn than the sport they watch every four years while watching the Olympics.
