BEAVER FALLS, Pa. — A Beaver County woman is in the hospital after she told police she was forced to jump out of a second-story window to get away from her attacker.

She told Police she was confined to a second-story room, beaten, assaulted. She told officers the only way out was to jump 15 feet to the ground below.
The alleged attacker, Jamal Boyd, initially stood on the porch and laughed while neighbors helped the injured woman, police said.
When police arrived, they needed to use an electric shock device to subdue Boyd. He was eventually taken into custody and is facing charges of unlawful restraint, simple assault and resisting arrest.
