PITTSBURGH — Sitting in Heinz Hall. Riding the Jack Rabbit at Kennywood. Sitting atop a Zamboni at the PPG Place ice rink. The viral image of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders sitting at the inauguration of President Joe Biden has been given the Pittsburgh treatment.
The original image of Sanders shows him sitting on a folding chair with a nondescript gray coat and hand-knitted mittens. People have taken it and photoshopped him into all manner of locations and positions.
So far, Channel 11 has found him at Heinz Hall, at Kennywood, at the PPG Place rink, among a group of Pittsburgh mascots, on a snow covered sidewalk, sitting at Tequila Cowboy, and sitting in traffic on Route 28.
People put in all around Kennywood Park, including sitting next to Cowboy Joe.
Good morning to whoever the Pittsburgher is that created this. pic.twitter.com/d1KwJlR8GL
