PLUM, Pa. — Allegheny County police are investigating after a body was recovered from the Allegheny River at a boat launch in Plum on Wednesday.

Police said the body of a middle aged white male was found in the water at Logan’s Ferry Boat Launch on Coxcomb Hill Road around 10:17 a.m., and detectives are on scene investigating.

Investigators say this was not related to the flooding Wednesday morning.
