PITTSBURGH — An 8-year-old boy suffered a head injury after climbing onto a garage roof and attempting to jump into a pool.
According to Pittsburgh Public Safety, the incident occurred in the 3100 block of Fredrick Street around 6:25 p.m. Friday.
Emergency services were called for a child not breathing, and when first responders arrived, they located the 8-year-old boy with a head injury. The boy was taken to UPMC Children’s Hospital in critical condition.
Police said the boy climbed onto a garage roof and slipped, falling about 10 feet.
