Wedding dress company Alfred Angelo is going out of business.

Customers were running into the store in Ross Township before it closed permanently at 6 p.m. Thursday.

Employees were notified by email Thursday morning.

"I don't get stressed that much, but she's about to blow through the roof," said Joshua Callan, who is getting married in a couple of months. He spent more than $2,000 at the McKnight Road location and has no idea if his fiancee will get the dress.

"I had a breakdown in there, it's frustrating enough planning a wedding," said Kayla Jaczesko, whose wedding is in September. She told Channel 11 her dress was sent out for alterations, and now nobody can get a hold of the seamstress.

According to Channel 11's news partners at The Palm Beach Post, a company representative could not be reached for comment Thursday. By Thursday afternoon, there were no employees in the company's Delray corporate office. Some offices still had desks, supplies and framed posters of wedding dresses hung on the walls.

There were just two people at the headquarters, both sitting inside a boardroom behind the reception area. Both denied being employees of the company, refused to respond to questions or offer their names and asked a Palm Beach Post reporter to leave the building.

The company's website makes no mention of a closure.
