Bullying addressed at school board meeting after boy falsely accused of sex assault

ZELIENOPLE, Pa — Several Seneca Valley parents attended the school board meeting Monday night to question members about bullying within the school district.

This came nearly two weeks after several girls conspired to falsely accuse a boy of sexual assault.

Since then, several parents have come forward, claiming their child has also been a victim of bullying in the Seneca Valley School District.

"Lead by example. Show now hat SV will change the future. And make it better for all children all generations bc that's what we need to do here now," a mom said at the meeting.

The school board responded, claiming the district followed all procedures.

"Just become something is contained in a lawsuit does not mean its fact. We have been issues with the complaint and feel strongly that the inclusion of district in the lawsuit is without merit," said James Nickel, the school board president.
