A Butler County man is accused of trying to solicit a 16-year-old girl for prostitution.
According to WFMJ, Joshua Lamping, 23, of Boyers, traded text messages with a girl he "friended" on Facebook. Lamping told police the girl offered him sex in exchange for money.

When Lamping picked the teenager up at the Grove City Burger King, he was with another adult male, WFMJ reported. That man demanded Lamping pay him money.
Lamping told police he left after refusing to pay, WFMJ reported.
He actually contacted police in late Setember, complaining that the teenager had offered herself as a propsitute.
Lamping is charged with unlawful contact with a monitor, corruption of minors and patronizing prostitutes.
According to WFMJ, the criminal complaint did not say whether charges would be filed against the teenager or man who was with her.
