BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A Butler man is facing charges in the death of an unborn child.
Damian Large, 19, is accused of assaulting a 33-year-old woman who was 36 weeks pregnant on Christmas Day in Butler Township.
Large and the woman got into a verbal argument that turned physical, according to court documents.

He is accused of choking the woman until she blacked out, then punching her in the stomach four times.
That assault lead to the unborn child’s death, according to court documents.
Large is facing several charges including criminal homicide of an unborn child and aggravated assault.
Large was denied bail and is in the Butler County Prison.
