WASHINGTON TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A car crashed into a daycare Wednesday morning in Westmoreland County.

The crash happened before 9:30 a.m. at Small World Daycare on Route 66 in Washington Township.
No children were hurt, officials said. The driver suffered minor injuries, but was taken to a hospital.
The children were not in the area of the building that was struck, officials said. They were all reunited with their parents or taken to an elementary school by a school bus.
It’s unclear how long the daycare might be closed.
