PITTSBURGH — Chatham University will require COVID-19 vaccinations for the 2021-2022 academic year.
According to the university, the requirement will apply to all students participating in face-to-face classes or campus activities, as well as for all faculty and staff.

Students and employees will be able to apply for an exemption with a valid medical, religious or other reason consistent under federal and state law. However, anyone who is not vaccinated will need to follow additional health and safety protocols.
Protocols for students and employees who do not get vaccinated will include COVID-19 testing, possible additional masking requirements and possible limitations or exclusions from some educational, cocurricular or work functions.
