Officials in Massachusetts served a civil lawsuit Monday in connection with a local police chief’s death.
Armed with new information from the FBI, the family of Chief Greg Adams filed the civil suit last week to get the suspect's wife and son to talk.
The Bristol County sheriff served the papers to Donald Eugene Webb’s wife and son. Officials knocked on the door but no one answered.

Webb has been wanted for 37 years, suspected of killing Adams in 1980.
A Butler County attorney, on behalf of Adams' family, filed the suit after the FBI released new information to the family, including finding a secret room in the Massachusetts house and a cane found in the room.
