PITTSBURGH — The Sewickley Bridge in Moon Township and Sewickley Borough will close for nearly a month starting Friday, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation announced.
The 24-day closure is expected to last from July 17 through August 10.

Preservation work, including a deck overlay and bearing and deck joint replacement, will be done during the closure.

There are two detours you can take to get around the closure.

Preparatory work for the $3.69 million project is ongoing.

PennDOT expects the entire project to be completed in late November.
