DONORA, Pa. — A man was shot to death Wednesday at a convenience store in Donora that he was part owner of, police confirmed.
Nicholas Tarpley, 28, was working at Anna Lee’s Convenience Store on Allen Avenue when he was killed just after 5 p.m., investigators said. He was shot several times inside the store named after his grandmother.
Surveillance photos of two suspects were released Friday (See below). They might be armed and dangerous. Anyone with information on the identity or whereabouts of either person is asked to call Pennsylvania State Police Belle Vernon at 724-929-6262 or their local police department.
Police haven’t said what led to the shooting.
“This is a close-knit neighborhood. You have a convenience store and a corner here with a lot of residences. Hopefully somebody heard or saw something that can help us out,” Trooper Robert Broadwater said.
