Could the retail giant Target be looking to move into the old Macy's store downtown in the Kauffman building?
The Macy's store has been empty for more than a year--- but some people who live and work downtown say if Target moves in -- it could help revitalize downtown shopping.

Channel 11 reached out to Target at their corporate office in Minnesota.
A spokeswoman wouldn't confirm the company was looking to move downtown, but they didn’t deny it either saying:
"We're always looking for new opportunities to better serve our guests, but we don't have any stores news to share for Pittsburgh."
Currently Target has 18 stores in the Pittsburgh area.
