DUQUESNE, Pa. — A man was killed and a child was hurt in a crash Friday morning that has Route 837 closed in Duquesne, police said.
The single-car crash happened about 3:30 a.m. on Route 837, near North Second Street. Investigators said the car rolled over and the man was thrown from it.
Officials pronounced the man dead at the scene.
The child was taken to a hospital and was listed in stable condition.
Just before 5 a.m., police said Route 837 is expected to be closed for about four hours while investigators process the scene. The roadway is shut down between North Second Street and Grant Avenue.
