According to the Creekside Volunteer Fire Company, the incident happened on Route 954 in Washington Township. Rescue crews found the bus off the road in a deep ditch.
State police investigators said there were a dozen students on the bus and it slid off the road due to “slushy roadway conditions.”
Crews attached their winch cables to the bus frame and worked to stabilize it before getting everyone safely off.
There were no injuries.
“Great job by all companies involved for a quick and smooth operation,” the fire company wrote on social media.
