OCEAN CITY, Md. — The U.S. Coast Guard has found a teenage swimmer that disappeared in the water off the coast of Ocean City, Maryland.
The 17-year-old boy went missing 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, according to WBAL-TV.
Crew with the U.S. Coast Guard searched the ocean for the teen with a helicopter and a number of search boats, along with Ocean City Beach Patrol.
Beach Patrol officials said a rip current may be to blame for the boy’s death.
He is from Annapolis, Maryland.
