Decomposed body found under mobile home in Beaver County

OHIOVILLE, Pa. — State police said a decomposed body was found under a mobile home in Beaver County Thursday.The home is on Midland Road in Ohioville, about a mile from the Ohio line.

The homeowner, Tracy Douds, said she was in complete shock. Douds said what started as a plumbing problem led to a shocking discovery when her boyfriend found human remains underneath her mobile home.

Douds has lived at the home with her daughter for about five years, and she sometimes smelled a terrible odor but thought it was a dead animal.

But on Thursday, as her boyfriend was fixing a plumbing issue under her home, she said he found bones.

“He came out and said, ‘Tracy you won’t believe this,’” said Tracy Douds. “He said I think there’s a dead body under there.”

The body was in what police called an extreme state of decomposition.

Right now, state police are investigating the identity of the body and the manner of death. Channel 11 is working to find out if this was a man or woman and how long the body had been there.
