PITTSBURGH — In what may be the best-known company yet to move its office out of the city amid the pandemic, Del Monte Foods announced it will leave its highly visible office on the city’s North Shore to move to Penn Center West in Robinson Township.

The Soffer Organization and Del Monte announced the move, in which the food company is working to move into the 15,722-square-foot top floor of Building 3 at Penn Center West this summer after signing a six-year lease deal for the new office.

Terry Maurer, senior director, real estate and facilities, Del Monte Foods Inc., said of the move in a prepared statement: “After an extensive search for our new home base in Pittsburgh, we’re thrilled to be moving into 3 Penn Center West. The expansive location offers a beautiful space for our team members to collaborate and is very conveniently located near the airport and downtown. We’re looking forward to moving into the space in late summer.”
