PITTSBURGH — DoorDash is providing up to $150,000 in grants to Pittsburgh-area restaurants.
The San Francisco-based third-party delivery service this week announced its local grant program, which will give 30 qualifying restaurants as much as $5,000 in aid. It is part of a $10 million program to help restaurants in the United States and Canada and a $200 million, five-year commitment the company made in the fall to support its drivers and the communities in which it operates.
Eligibility for the program includes being in Pittsburgh, having three or fewer stores currently operating, generating $3 million or less in 2019 per location and employing 50 workers or fewer per location.
