NORTH VERSAILLES, Pa. — A local student's grandparents have removed him from school after they say he's been the victim of bullying.
The boy has apparently been the target for several attacks, including a fight in the school bathroom, his grandparents said.
His grandmother told Channel 11 the last straw for her family was seeing a video that surfaced on social media. In the video, you can see a number of students inside a restroom watching two boys fight.
"Bullying is not something that anyone wants to go through, especially your grandchild. To see that happen, it's sad," said Mayra Pabon, the boy's grandmother.

Pabon's grandson was an eighth-grade student in the East Allegheny School District, but not anymore.
She said her family chose to permanently remove him from the district after seeing the brutal video.
"He thought they were going to go to the lunchroom and sit together, but they went to the bathroom and he just followed along," Pabon said. "When he got in the bathroom, a young boy just rushed him, and he fell to the floor."
Pabon's grandson was suspended, but they said he has been targeted for a while by bullies at the school.
The superintendent of the district said the incident is being looked into and that once the investigation was underway, teachers, students and administrators were immediately notified.
He went on to say there was no clear victim as far as who started the fight and said he was not aware of any bullying issues with that student before.
The superintendent also told Channel 11 the school is not at liberty to talk about what consequences were issued to certain students, but he said he wants to see Pabon's grandson return to the school district.
