Family desperate for answers after teen girl, boyfriend found shot to death in Allegheny Co.

WILKINSBURG, Pa. — Family and friends are demanding answers days after a teen girl and her boyfriend were found shot to death in Wilkinsburg.

Elarrah Findley, 18, was described as an outgoing, kind, and funny young woman.

She and her boyfriend, Jerrell Jeffries, were both killed Sunday night when someone fired at them on Midlant Street.

Findley was found dead in the middle of the street with multiple gunshot wounds. Jeffries, 22, who was also shot multiple times, was found in a car a little further up the street.

Both were pronounced dead at the scene.

No one has been arrested in connection with the shooting yet, and police have not identified a suspected shooter.

Now, Findley's family and friends have a strong message for whoever killed her.

"I hope you rot in Hell," said one of her friends. "I pray they find him. I hope and pray to God he gets found."

Investigators believe the victims were sitting in the front seat of the car while a third person was in the back seat. Police believe that back seat passenger shot the man, then chased and shot the woman as she ran down the street.

"She wanted to live. She was running for her life," her friend said.

They are now hopeful for an arrest and conviction of whoever shot and killed Findley.
