The family was coming down Ardmore Boulevard late Wednesday night when the accident happened. Moran died the next day at the hospital.
Her mother is still trying to come to terms with her death.
"Just everyday, I would wake up and think, 'I have a baby girl. I have a baby girl, I finally have a daughter. I have a little me.' Just like that, she's gone,'" said Ericka Parker, Moran's mother.
Parker was also in the car along with Melanie's two brothers and her grandmother.
