Fan of hitting the slopes? Here are the changes you’ll see at Seven Springs this winter

GREENSBURG, Pa. — Bad news for ski and snowboard fans: Without Mother Nature’s cooperation, Seven Springs is pushing its opening weekend back to mid-December.

That’s not the only change the resort is making this year. The coronavirus pandemic is forcing the resort to get creative and contactless.

“People looking for something safe, healthy and fun to do this winter, we have it,” one resort official said.

Everything will be done by the click of the mouse or the touch of your hand before hitting the slopes from lift passes to rentals. The resort’s online system has been updated to buy most everything on your phone or even before you show up.

Walls are being added to the bars inside the Foggy Goggle along with a menu featuring options to order and take your food outside. There are four new takeout areas as well.

Staff will also be working to space people on the lifts.
