UNIONTOWN, Pa. — State troopers arrested a Fayette County man over the weekend who is accused of 40 felony counts related to allegations he sexually abused four young girls for the last six years.
According to our partners at TribLive.com, David Straitiff, 47, of North Union was arrested after troopers received a tip from the state police computer crimes division. The tip said that pictures of some of the girls were discovered on Straitiff’s home computer during an investigation.
Court documents said the victims, now 6, 10, 12 and 14 years old, told investigators that Straitiff began abusing some of them in 2015.
Straitiff admitted to raping and sexually assaulting the girls, according to court papers. He was ordered held in jail and bond was denied.
