MIDDLESEX TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A fire brought crews to a business in Middlesex Township, Butler County, Wednesday morning.
The fire burned at XPER, formerly Ibis Tek, on Pittsburgh Road. It started in a gutter, fire officials said.

According to the company’s website, XPER is a manufacturer of protective armor for men and women in uniform.
Officials said the fire reached three alarms because all of the firefighters are volunteers and they needed to make sure there were enough people to fight it.
Everyone got out of the building safely and no firefighters were hurt, officials said.
