LIGONIER, Pa. — A fire that injured two people in Ligonier has been ruled arson.
Several windows of the home on Griffith Road are now boarded up after the fire which started around 4 p.m. Tuesday.

“That’s all I could hear was help, help, help me. Kind of frantic" said neighbor Lugene Horner. "Then I did see him, he came down off porch and into the vehicle and started blowing the horn. And still, no one responded but the 911 gentleman could hear him yelling clear down here.”
Firefighters rescued a woman from the home, police said. She and the man were taken to the hospital for smoke-related issues.
Channel 11′s Melanie Gillespie learned Wednesday that the fire was ruled arson.
Investigators are trying to figure out who set the house on fire and why.
