PITTSBURGH — A firefighter was hurt early Tuesday after battling a fire in Pittsburgh.
The fire broke out just after midnight on Chesterfield Road in Oakland.

The firefighter was being put on a stretcher when a Channel 11 News crew arrived at the scene.
He was dehydrated and taken to hospital to be evaluated, officials said.
The hot and muggy weather conditions made this fire especially difficult to fight.
Crews were able to keep the fire contained to the kitchen.
