Firefighters battle flames, heavy smoke at Ross Township house fire

ROSS TOWNSHIP, Pa. — Firefighters battled flames and heavy smoke Friday at a house fire in Ross Township.

Investigators said the fire started just before 7 a.m. Friday at a home on Peoples Road.

Heavy smoke is pouring from home as firefighters tried to get the fire under control.

Two people were inside when the fire started and got out safely.

Investigators haven't determined what caused the fire.
