CHAMPION, Pa. — Get your skis and snowboards ready.
The first snow has fallen at Seven Springs Resort and Snowshoe Mountain.
At Seven Springs, the resort got a dusting of snow Monday morning, which marks a major milestone for skiers and snowboarders who are anxious to hit the slopes.
Snowmaking operations will begin soon, when colder temperatures are consistant.

In the meantime, Seven Springs Mountain Resort, Hidden Valley Resort and Laurel Mountain are also looking to hire more than 1,000 employees for seasonal, part-time and full-time positions for the upcoming season.
The resorts are holding a job fair, Nov. 7 from 12 - 3 p.m. at Seven Springs Resort. Anyone interested should apply in advance HERE.
At Snowshoe Mountain, resort officials are reporting 2 inches of snow along the mountain’s 4,800 foot summit.
Snowshoe will be using their snowmaking system over the next few weeks in preparation for the upcoming ski season, which opens on Nov. 25, weather permiting.
