PITTSBURGH — A 46-year-old man was arrested and charged with giving a teen girl alcohol and sexually abusing at least two young girls.
According to investigators, Dominic Muscante was charged with indecent assault, endangering the welfare of children, corruption of minors and other charges.
Court documents said detectives were called to UPMC Children’s Hospital for a child sexual assault investigation. Police said a girl told them she was molested by Muscante. She knew him from volunteering at the Glassport Community Outreach Food Bank and through church events at the Glassport Assembly of God.
The girl told investigators Muscante had grabbed her inappropriately during a church Christmas party several times. In the summer of 2019, the girl said he inappropriately touched her in his van while they were driving to get food from a warehouse.
Detectives said the girl also reported that Muscante gave her alcohol while working at the food bank and had stopped at a gas station to buy her an alcoholic slushie drink.
Another alleged victim told investigators that she met Muscante through volunteering at the food bank. She said on multiple occasions, beginning when she was six and lasting until she was 19, he would touch her inappropriately. She told detectives that Muscante told her he would kill himself if she ever stopped talking to him.
