Former Steelers player Bud Dupree reportedly accused of assaulting Walgreen’s employee in Nashville

NASHVILLE — Former Pittsburgh Steelers player and current Tennessee Titans linebacker Bud Dupree was accused of assaulting a Walgreen’s employee in Nashville.

According to WSMV-TV, Dupree was charged with misdemeanor assault in an altercation that turned physical with a store employee Sunday night.

Court documents said the employee was working when at around 8 p.m. a group of people entered the store. Some of the people got into an argument with the employee. The group left the store and returned a short time later with Dupree. He allegedly grabbed the employee and his phone and the two got into a fight before leaving.

Dupree was ordered to report for booking on the charges in three weeks.
