It offers a full gym with free weights, treadmills and elliptical machines, a full basketball court and a sauna.
Just steps away, people can take a dive in the swimming pool which re-opens next week.
The former YMCA was once a community staple, but unfortunately shut down in August 2018 when the YMCA of Greater Pittsburgh filed for bankruptcy and started restructuring.

Community members knew it couldn’t fall to the wayside, so they stepped in almost immediately to fundraise, organize and get it certified as a non-profit.
Organizers say there is a great need for it in the community.
“We are a non-profit 501 3c, and we will provide for people that can’t afford memberships within the community. So if you and your family wanna come down and can’t afford it, we do have a sliding scale. We call it the helping hands,” volunteer Gary Nowading said.
