Fully vaccinated Giant Eagle shoppers, employees don’t need to wear masks starting today

PITTSBURGH — If you are fully vaccinated, you won’t need to wear a mask while heading to any Giant Eagle, GetGo or Market District stores, starting Monday.

The company reversed course from its previous guidelines. Shortly after the Pennsylvania Department of Health announced statewide mask rule changes, the company said everyone would still be required to wear one.

Those not fully vaccinated will still be required to wear one while in the store.

For those who are unable to wear one, the company’s online grocery ordering system will continue to offer curbside pickup and delivery options.
