PENNSYLVANIA — As COVID-19 cases continue to surge across the country and in Pennsylvania, governors of northeastern states had an emergency summit over the weekend to discuss the situation, according to WNBC.
Pennsylvania was a part of the summit, where the group talked about additional restrictions in an attempt to stop the spread of coronavirus across the area, according to WNBC.

Governors from New York, New Jersey, Massachusetts and Connecticut were also there.
Pennsylvania reported new record case totals on Saturday, the highest daily total since the pandemic began.
