PITTSBURGH — Adjusting to life during the COVID-19 pandemic has been scary, stressful, frustrating and, at times, lonely for many people. Teenagers are no exception.
Like everyone, teenagers have been separated from friends and family, and they’ve missed out on social events that would typically be held throughout the year. On top of that, virtual schooling has forced them to come to terms with a new way of learning.
All of this can have a negative impact in a person’s mental health.
Tuesday is World Teen Mental Wellness Day, so to help teenagers and anyone else who might be struggling during this or any other time, below is a list of resources. If you or anyone you know is having a hard time, help is available.
