Here are positive things happening in our community (4/18/20)

PITTSBURGH — We know that the coronavirus pandemic is an overwhelming and stressful time for everybody, so we’re going to put together some positive things that are happening within our community to help those in need.

It’s apparent that during hard times, the Pittsburgh region always comes together to help one another.

Preschoolers make ‘thank you’ signs for essential workers

A preschool class in North Fayette Township created “thank you” signs for healthcare and other essential workers who continue to serve our communities during the coronavirus pandemic.

Teachers used the signs to fill a hillside to spread positivity and express gratitude to workers, such as pharmacists, paramedics, police officers, firefighters and delivery drivers.
