Local high school seniors being ‘adopted’ by community members
Local high school seniors being ‘adopted’ by community members
The Leechburg community is supporting the Class of 2020 by “adopting” high school seniors who are missing out on their last year of school because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
There is a Facebook page dedicated to the Leechburg High School 2020 senior class.
Families are being asked to post pictures and descriptions of their high school seniors on the Facebook page, and then members of the community can adopt them.
People who choose to adopt a senior are asked to show them support by sending them letters, cards, gifts and other items to make them feel special.
