PITTSBURGH — President Joe Biden signed the American Rescue Plan into law on March 11 and it includes funding for counties and local municipalities.
According to our partners at TribLive.com, the money will be sent in two batches and must be spent by the end of 2024. The funding can be used for water, sewer and broadband projects as well as projects with reimbursement and expenses related to the pandemic. It can also be used for grants for small businesses, nonprofits and COVID-19-impacted industries.
