ALLEGHENY CO., Pa. — Police are investigating after human remains were found in Boyce Park Saturday morning.
According to police, hunters discovered what was left of a body in the woods about 100 yards from Spring Miller Road around 9:30 a.m.

Allegheny County Police officials told Channel 11 the body -- which has not been identified yet -- appears to have been in the woods for some time. Although, they could not specify how long exactly the remains had been there.
The circumstances surrounding the body are under investigation. The remains were collected and transported to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s office to determine identification, and cause and manner of death.
