Power back for hundreds after outage in several Pittsburgh neighborhoods

PITTSBURGH — Power was out at hundreds of homes in several Pittsburgh neighborhoods Thursday morning.

The city’s East Liberty, Highland Park and Morningside neighborhoods were impacted by the outage, according to Duquesne Light.

A spokesperson for the power company said an overhead wire came down.

Service was fully restored shortly after 9 a.m.
