MONONGAHELA, Pa. — Monongahela Public Works crews do not want to clean up residents’ unwanted large items any more.
They say people are sneaking in and leaving large items after hours, mostly because the garbage dump is off the beaten path.
The superintendent told Channel 11 it's taking a lot of manpower to clean up discarded items every morning, and dumping them is also illegal.
He said the most recent large items left were so big, the pile blocked the entire entrance to the dump.
