PENNSYLVANIA — Of Pennsylvania’s more than 12 million residents, just 680,000 have been vaccinated so far for Covid-19, according to the state Department of Health.
Pennsylvania hospitals began receiving shipments of the Pfizer-BioNTech Covid-19 vaccine the week of Dec. 14 and the Moderna Covid-19 vaccine the week of Dec. 21, the state said.

Through Sunday:
- 680,219 doses of the vaccine have been administered. That number does not include vaccine administration through the CVS Pharmacy as part of the Federal Pharmacy Partnership.
- There are 451,467 people who have received one dose
- There are 114,376 people who have received two doses
Across the state, 807,867 people have tested positive for Covid-19, with 3,910 hospitalized and 790 patients in the intensive care unit.
