PITTSBURGH — A juvenile was shot Sunday morning after answering a door at a home in Pittsburgh’s Mount Washington neighborhood, authorities said.
Police received a call just before 5 a.m. about shots fired on Natchez Street. When officers got there, they found the juvenile, a male whose age has not been released, shot inside a home.

Investigators said there was a knock on the door, and the juvenile was shot after he answered it.
Officers applied a tourniquet to the juvenile’s wounds until paramedics arrived, officials said. He was then taken to a hospital in serious but stable condition.
