GREENSBURG, Pa. — A Westmoreland County K-9 will work his last day on the job Monday.
K-9 DAX is retiring after more than 12 years on the City of Greensburg police force.
He has been involved in countless narcotics seizures and tracking of suspects and missing people.
Greensburg police wrote on their Facebook page, “Your loyalty, courage and sacrifice will not be forgotten.”
Plans are in motion to add another K-9 to the force soon.
