Provost and Senior Vice President for Academic Affairs Howard Ishiyama, Ph.D., said, “La Roche University is committed to providing students with a meaningful college experience while adapting to the changing circumstances of the COVID-19 pandemic. We are excited to open as an in-person campus, hosting students in our classrooms and residence halls as well as our athletic fields.”

La Roche reopened campus for the 2020-2021 academic year under an extensive health and safety plan that included COVID-19 mitigation efforts such as: required face coverings, daily temperature and symptom screenings, social distancing, and a phased return-to-work plan for nonessential employees. With only nine confirmed cases, the fall semester successfully concluded with a low rate of COVID-19 infection on campus, according to a news release.
