A new report released Tuesday said a chemical herbicide found in weed killer was discovered in breakfast cereals and snack bars.

The Environmental Working Group said nearly all 28 products tested had glyphosate, above the group's benchmark. That's the chemical found in the weed killer Roundup.

In a statement to CNN, General Mills officials said, "The extremely low levels of pesticide residue cited in recent news reports is a tiny fraction of the amount the government allows."
This is the second study of food items. Earlier this year, the first study had similar results and found that more than 30 oat-based foods contained the same chemical.
