PITTSBURGH — Leap year is almost here, and the babies at a Pittsburgh hospital are jumping right into it.

To celebrate, babies at UPMC Magee-Womens Hospital were dressed up in handmade grasshopper hats.

The hats were made by UPMC Magee nurse, Caitlin Pechin.

In addition to the cuteness, Anne Sutton and Alec Traub donated 150 “I Love You Like” books to new parents at the hospital. Traub co-wrote the book with Sutton’s late husband, Scott, Traub’s friend, after Scott’s cancer diagnosis.

The book is about a young grasshopper who repeatedly interrupts his work-bound dad with the important question, “How much do you love me?” The book is dedicated to Scott’s son.
