BETHEL PARK, Pa. — A Bethel Park teacher has been arrested after allegedly sending a sexually explicit video to a police officer who was posing as a teenage girl, police said.

According to police paperwork, a police officer entered a teen chat room posing as a 14-year-old girl.

Brian Scott, 46, sent the sexually explicit video, exposing himself to the officer who he thought was a teenage girl, police said. According to the criminal complaint obtained by Channel 11, Scott was in the teen chat room claiming to be a 17-year-old boy.

The conversations went from a chat room to live video, on which, investigators said, Scott touched himself inappropriately.

A search warrant was conducted Friday morning on his Bethel Park house, where the officers interviewed Scott about the messages.

According to the criminal complaint, "He indicated the person told him she was a minor, and also a student at Cannon-McMillan School, but he believed she was actually a older male who was role playing."
